Engagement shoot tips

Tips for your engagement shoot…

- Regarding your outfits, have a think about colours/patterns that complement so you don’t clash with each other. Smart-ish is usually best (perhaps dress like you’re going out for a meal?) I’d advise avoiding anything with large slogans or logos on as they can look distracting in the photos. If you want any ideas, have a look at my Instagram page to see what my previous couples have worn

- Phones/keys/wallets can look obvious in your pockets so I’d recommend bringing a small bag that you’re happy to place down on the ground each time we stop for photos

- The shoot will last up to an hour depending on how far we walk. We’ll stop at multiple places so that we get a nice variety of backgrounds

- I’ll give you tips on how to pose with each other, please tell me if you’re uncomfortable with anything (e.g. if you don’t want any photos of you kissing!) The photos are for you so I want to ensure that you love them!

- It might be your first time having professional photos taken. If you’re feeling a little nervous please try to think of it as a relaxed walk with a new friend (me!) in a lovely location. I usually start off with taking photos of the pair of you walking away from/towards me to get you feeling more relaxed in front of my camera!
